A Worksite Assessment happens where the work actually happens. An Occupational Therapist visits the workplace, documents the environment and the tasks the role involves, and identifies what needs to change for the client to work safely.
What is assessed
The physical environment, the specific tasks of the role and their demands, and the fit between the two and the client’s current capacity. Recommendations may cover ergonomic aids, equipment, changes to the setup, or changes to how tasks are carried out.
What the client and employer receive
A written report that both parties can act on — specific about what is recommended and why, rather than generic ergonomic advice.
