How we work
Every service starts with the person in front of us. Assessments are grounded in the client's actual history, capability and circumstances, and our reports are written to be genuinely useful to everyone who reads them — the client, their case owner, their employer and their treatment providers.
We work across assessment, planning and delivery, which means a client can move from an initial occupational assessment through career planning, pre-employment preparation and a graduated return to work without being handed between providers at each step.
Step by Step Training
HCD owns and operates Step by Step, specialists in one-to-one computer and workplace training. Where a client needs to build specific skills as part of their return to work, that capability sits in-house.
Where we work
We see clients in Auckland, Gisborne and Wellington. Worksite assessments and graduated return to work programmes are delivered on site, at the client's own workplace.
